Thoraus's View of technology.

According to Thoreau, technology disturbs the nature of the earth and causes pollution. Yes, his view is somewhat reasonable but human needs technology. First, it helps their lives more convenient and healthy. More example , car and airplane helped traveling and transportation faster. Machine kept people healthy. However people abuse technology , so they cause Global Warning. I could not go without technology for a day because my house is ten miles from schools. I need car to travel.

When the government encroached human' s private life and right, the course of action is required . Violence is not democracy but "mobacracy ". Only peaceful protest can convince people to follow your idea. According to Thoreua, if the government is best when it govern least. Therefore, a person has the right to disobey the unjust law.

In this song the Rage against the Machine mentions Dr. Martin luther King Jr, Thomas Pains, Malcom X and Chief Sitting Bull. Those are cilvil rights leaders . Probably he admires those people because they protect one who is abused. For example , Thomas Pain helped American to notice their rights and the sense of freedom and independence. Dr. King and Malcom X fought for civil right movement which grants rights to African American. Yet Chief Sitting Bull was the protection of Native Americans.
